Certified Minecraft Educator

Rob has undertaken training with the Minecraft education training for tutors and earnt her community and teaching certified skills. Rob is very passionate about the game of Minecraft as the students are able to manage their own experience, learn to work with others, and learn about how communities work together to achieve success.

Rob worked at Christchurch City Libraries for 24 years, the last 6 years as a Programming Specialist. She was teaching Minecraft, 3d printing, laser cutting, vinyl cutting, robotics, coding, sewing, embroidery, vacumm forming, badge making, and scratch to name a few. She is very good at problem solving and she is used to dealing with any tech issues that you sometimes encounter with Minecraft. Rob loves working with the students and encouraging them to give things a go. There is no right or wrong in Minecraft but there is a huge amount of creativity to be had and enjoyed. Minecraft is so great for spatial awareness, logic, problem solving, communication, collaboration, coding, literacy, maths, science, arts, strategic thinking, creativity, cultural and historical exploration and the nuerodiverse.

Currently teaching at Ilam School, Tuahiwi School, Woodend School and St Martins School in Christchurch.
Talk to us about starting up a club at your school. Cost is $100pp per 9 weeks in a school term. Casuals can attend to see if they would like to attend the club.

These are Sensory Magnetic Minecraft blocks that we use in our sessions. These are a great alternative for a break from the screen and for quiet play.
